What is Embershard?
Embershard is a Free-to-Play, Play-to-Earn MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena). Players can pick a character, summon up a team of friends or randoms, and fight other players in different maps and game modes.
On what platforms is Ember Shard available?
Ember Shard will be available on all mobile platforms.
Do I have to buy something to play?
No. Embershard is a title which is free-to-play. This means you can start playing, without paying for anything first. We see “Pay to Play” as a limit to the expansion of Embershard in the future.
What stage of development is the game at now?
The game is currently in development, in a pre-alpha stage.
When will Embershard release?
We expect to launch an alpha for the community in 2022 June, and then do several stages of beta before a full release.

Will there be standard roles in the game like a tank, support, healer, and damage dealer?
Yes! Every character fits into one of six categories (assassin, controller, damage, disruptor, support, tank), but also functions well in one or more of the other roles as well. We take these into account when finding others for your team!

How do you deal with players who violate the rules?
No matter their identity and heritage, we celebrate people of all backgrounds. We understand the importance of inclusiveness in the game and how disrespectful players can ruin your gaming experience. We will prohibit such behavior in the game. Offenders will be strictly punished and even permanently banned if needed.
